Piebald
Tthe coat consists of patches of black hair and patches of white. The pattern of these patches will vary tremendously. The mane and tail will usually be coloured according to the colour of the coat at their base of growth. For example, if the horse has a black hair partway down its neck and then white hair, the mane will, correspondingly, be black part way and then white. The horse's skin will be dark under the black hair and pink under the white hair.
