Pelham
  Is a type of bit which combines the snaffle and curb into one mouthpiece, it can be used with either one or two reins.

Pelvis
  Is made up of two equal halves, which forms a complete circle of bone, which is welded together in the adult horse. It protects the rectum and bladder and provides the passage through which the foal must pass during birth.

  First phalanx (long pastern) is a long bone because it has a central marrow.

Piaffe
  A very collected trot on the spot asked for in dressage and high school work. The horse's back should be supple, with the hock well engaged, so giving great freedom and lightness to the action of the forehand.

Piebald
  Tthe coat consists of patches of black hair and patches of white. The pattern of these patches will vary tremendously. The mane and tail will usually be coloured according to the colour of the coat at their base of growth. For example, if the horse has a black hair partway down its neck and then white hair, the mane will, correspondingly, be black part way and then white. The horse's skin will be dark under the black hair and pink under the white hair.
