Thoroughpin
An inflamed tendon sheath, which encloses the deep digital flexor tendon as it passes behind the hock. A soft swelling appears about level with the point of hock and extends from one side to the other beneath the tendons (gastrocnemius and superficial flexor) that cross over the point of hock. Seldom causes lameness but it can be unsightly.
