| Introduction |

Ivesley is a comfortable 18th century Country House and Equestrian Centre set in 220 acres of magnificent countryside. It was a hunting lodge for Brancepeth Castle's West Park. There are resident B.H.S. qualified instructors and a selection of well-schooled horses and ponies to suit all levels of rider. We teach everyone from complete beginners to experienced riders, and offer refresher courses for B.H.S. stage exams.

From Durham take the A690. Go through traffic lights at Nevilles Cross, 300yards downhill turn right onto B6302 through Esh Winning, Waterhouses and Hamilton Row to T-junction at Black Horse Inn, up hill, Avenue on right.
Trains and aeroplanes met by arrangement. (Durham Station and Newcastle Airport.

We offer week stays, mid-week, weekend breaks and bed and breakfast at reasonable prices. The riding holiday price is inclusive of horse or pony hire and instruction, also livery if you bring your own horse.
