Welcome to Grove House Stables Equestrian Centre. Our aim is for you to enjoy your time spent with us and for you to learn and have fun at the same time. Grove House Stables was established in 1991 with one horse, one pony and a very muddy field! We have certainly come a long way since then - we now have approximately 35 horses/ponies, 2 Floodlit All Weather Riding Arenas, Show Jumping Paddock, Cross Country Jumps and 2 Heated Lecture Rooms. We are fully approved by both the British Horse Society and the Association of British Riding Schools. We have a team of Experienced, Well Qualified and Supportive Instructors and Staff.
OPENING - We are open every day except Thursday which is our staff training day, and we open until 9.00pm four night s a week.

Lesson Types:- GROUP - A group of up to 8 riders
SHARED - 3 people sharing a lesson
SHARED PRIVATE - 2 people sharing a lesson
PRIVATE - Tuition on a "One to One" basis
LUNGE - Private lesson with the instuctor "lunging" the rider
STABLE MANAGEMENT- Theory training based in the lecture room or practical training "in the Stable".
CHILDREN'S ACIVITY DAYS - Action packed riding and practical experience from 9am to 4pm.

TRAINING COURSES - We offer a full range of Training Courses for Career Students and clients wishing to take Professional Examinations. We also offer free places on day time and evening Adult Training Programmes run in partnership with North Nottinghamshire College. Courses available include B.H.S. Stages 1 to 4, Riding and Road Safety, Preliminary and Riding Levels 1 to 3. NVQ in Horsecare and Riding Levels 1 to 3.
BRAND NEW RURAL LEARNING CENTRE - INCLUDING A WIDE RANE OF Hi-Tech Computer and Internet Equipment, plus Reference Library. Computer courses run every Saturday morning during the academic year from 10.00am to 12 noon. Why not bring the kids to ride while you learn to surf the net?
