Checkendon Equestrian Centre is situated between Reading and Oxford. It is within easy travelling distance from London. (1 hour) and the Midlands (1 hour 30 minutes). Furthermore it is 30 minutes from the M40 and M4. For those of you looking to enjoy a short break and holidays, the equestrian centre is also 45 minutes from Heathrow. The nearest train station is 7 miles away at Reading.

Our horses are perfect for all stages of riding skills. Some have been placed in local and regional dressage, show jumping, cross country and eventing competitions which would suit the more experienced rider. We also have horses and ponies more suited to the beginner/nervous rider.
