The many bridleways and tracks stretch for miles through woodlands and onto the moors to the Pennine way, where the views are magnificent. There are bridlewyas around the reservoir that pass Hannah Hauxwell's farmhouse, where she lead a lonely moorland existence, depicted in several T. V. series, books and films.

This type of holiday can provide a good foundation for beginners who would prefer to learn in a short time what would take mane weeks of instruction.
