May is turned out in a very large pasture from 7 AM - 6 PM where she grazes with two geldings, but at night she gets her feed.
1/2 scoop soaked beet pulp
1 scoop of soaked alfalfa pellets
1 scoop of FASTRACK ABC+, which helps with gut bactera levels or something
1 scoop of rice bran
1 cup of Flax Horshine for strong hooves, shiny coat, and omega-3 supplement
And then she has granulated garlic sprinkled over her food because garlic is helpful for a lot of things (ex. preventing cancer, preventing flies, etc.)
She also has coastal bermuda AM and PM.

Red has (morning and evening):
1 scoop of Ossi-Chaf-Sweet,
1 levelled (if that) scoop Cool Mix.
2 scoops sugar-beet juice. (respiratory infection means drowned feeds!),
Plenty of chopped up carrots,
and his supplement for his respiratory problems - ventilate. Great stuff!
I love making feeds aswell, I always get down to the yard early just so that I can do them hehe!
Oh and during the night he has a 44" large holed haynet, stuffed full of hay, which has been soaked for 12 hours-ish. Which, with Red being Red, is all gone in the morning :p

Simple Systems stuff:
Summer - Ruff Stuff (grass), Greengold (lucerne), linseed & an apple
Spring, Autum, Winter - Ruff Stuff & Greengold mixed with soaked, mushy Lucienuts (lucerne) & Meadowbix (grass), linseed & an apple
For some reason she doesn't like the mushy stuff in the summer!
She also tends to self select various things including cleavers, English ivy, dead nettles and, at the moment, rosehips!

At the moment he gets:
Breakfast:
1 litre of oats
Hay
Midday:
1 litre of oats
Hay
Dinner:
1 litre of oats + measure of mineral plus
Hay
During winter dry hay every 3-4 hours, during summer dry & green hay every 3-4 hours.
When in heavy work we increase the amount of oats to 5-6 litres a day, depending on the amount of work they do. During the hottest summer season we also add a pinch of sea salt on the dinner, although they do usually have salt lick on their field as well.

Edit: Oh, and we soak the oats with warm water before giving them to a horse.
