Hey, if you own a thoroughbred who has raced/is racing, you might want to check this out;
http://www.pedigreequery.com/
and see what his/her bloodlines are! I found back o the 1600's with Teddy's!

I couldn't actually find a way to print it out big enough, so I spent days drawing one up by hand, and then it got damaged when my OH moved the study around six months ago. :rolleyes: But it's still there! :) I've just got a family tree programme for the computer, so I think I will get one of those set up for him and print off a posh one that I can frame :D

Hi,Chasingracers,
We decided to check our foals bloodlines, I used a couple of sites, the problem is, we have acess to his dam as my wife rides her, "Braigo" she was raced 4 times, she was then put to Woodborough a stallion in Ireland. we know he is out of Performing Arts and Woodman, both stallions of repute, the only problem is we cannot find any photos of Woodborough, our foals Grandsire, any ideas, I did send an email to Woodboroughs current stud farm in South Africa, to see if they had any photos, no reply as yet
many thanks
Mike

Wow! I have a quarter horse, and I traced her lines all the way back to 1633, and the horse was an arabian! O_O How wonky is that?
Andie has some thoroughbred lines, so i'm guessing that would explain why. :P
Which puzzles me. I always thought she was half QH, half TB, but the only TB she appears to have in her is farther back in her lines! Would she still be considered an Appendix?
