Fibrotic myopathy/Semitendinosis tenotomy

My horse recently had surgery (a semitendinosis tenotomy) for a fibrotic myopathy in his right hind leg. He is in the process of recovering right now, and is at the point where I can hand walk him (he was on complete stall rest for a couple weeks). However, I notice that while the gait issue is improved, he still does demonstrate it quite a bit.

I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with fibrotic myopathies. Thanks.
