My instructor often has my group and I do flying lead changes across the diagonal. I can often get my horse to do these, but I'm still a bit confused as to what the exact cues are. Could someone explain the exact cues to me, please? In addition, how would I ask my horse to do a flying lead change on the rail?
Thank you for your help!:)

for example imagination starting going clockwise round the school on right lead...
you would have your left outside leg back behind the girth slightly to hold the hindquarters and your inside leg by the girth and you body position is slightly right to hold the horse. when you get to the change of diagonal you would slightly straighten up and slightly collect the horse, when you want to change legs you half halt, lift your new inside hand (left) slightly and move your upper body (from hips) turning left, your new inside (left) leg comes foreward by the girth and your new outside (right) leg slides back to ask for canter in the left
