Hi everyone.
I was wondering if anyone knew an easy way to learn dressage tests. I have my first dressage test looming and I can't seem to remember my test. HELP!

This may sound v.silly but when i had to learn a dressage test years ago (never done one since but hope to) i pretended to be the horse and marked the arena out in a large space. I acted it out till i remembered it. Don't know if anyone else does this but doing it rather than staring at a piece of paper really worked.
I came first by the way so being silly got me somewhere.

what i did was i drew the test out on paper using different coloured pencils as the test progressed. (just for reference)
then i use to just walk it out myself without the horse until i knew it.

sozzie that is sooo not silly, i do that and it sticks in my mind soooo well, i get on my horse, and i can actually feel in myslef what i would be doing at what point, and the horse picks this up, i am sure it does, and helps a lot!!!

You can buy dressage test boards. I have one and I find it very useful.

I learnt my first dressage test like lots of others here by acting it out! I also drew out the arena and traced where the test was going....does that make sense??! Well, it worked! Good luck!:D
