Hunter Braids

does anyone know how to do hunter braids really well? i will be showing soon and would like t braid up my thouroughbreds mane but dont know how. I can kinda do button braids but can never get the ends to stay tucked into the elastic so it doesnt look very good. Any tips or suggestions?

Use thread rather than bands. It means you can secure the braid, then fold the end up, wrap thread around it, secure again, and then roll and stitch. :)

Forget elastic and stitch them in with thick thread. They look much more professional and infinitely neater.
