What are the four ways of changing the rein? Help

Across diagonal
Down centre line
Right angle across school eg E to B
Loop (half circle) back to track
Fruit Loop

Could you do a :
- 4 loop serpentine
-Tear drop down the long side of the school
- half figure of 8 (s shape)
- uuummm

I would have thought that if you were on your own you could change the rein how and where you liked. Yes there are the official ways of doing it but variety is the spice of life. We sometimes do a turn about the forehand at B, or E, another at X and then a third at whichever end of the school we get to. Mind you sometimes i just go for it and change when and where I feel is needed depending on how ned is going.

as mossy said, variety is the spice of life and you can change the rein how you like...
half turn on the huanches (used in the some elementary tests).
across the diagonal full or short.
E/B to B/E
even numbered loops serpinitine
