but bear with me :) my mum asked me this at the weekend and i couldn't answer it! we've a reg. section D. When we start showing him, do we ourselves have to be members of the WPCS to compete in his breed classes and have a chance of winning society medals etc.? forgive the really stupid question :o

You will have to be a member of the WPCS in order to compete in their breed classes etc.He will have to be fully registered as well.

He's fully registered as was purchased from a local breeder :) looks like i'll have to get mum and i membership to the WPCS.

not necessarily - it depends on the class specifications. if you want to do the society qualifiers then yes, but not just for the random classes. some are affiliated to other societies - for instance picton qualifiers, olympia qualifiers are affiliated to the NPS and you have to be a member of that to enter them. then there are ponies (UK) affiliated classes, BSPS ones etc.
