I've just bought Molly a hanging cheek french link snaffle, hoping it's dressage legal. Is it?
PS Unaffiliated dressage:)

yep you're quite safe with a hanging cheek snaffle. Its quite popular with dressage riders as it has a lowering effect on the horses head.

it is legal, definitely!
PS: even though you are doing unaffiliated dressage, a bit that isn't legal, isn't legal eg a pelham unless otherwise stated by the event organisers :)

a tip when considering different bits
the vast majority of unaff comps go with british dressage rules
of you go on the british dressage website they have a section in the rules area that gives you the names , & better still pictures , of all the bits they allow in competition
