Hi
My name is Thamara and I've been riding for 8 years. I am entering a equine science program of two years at college. The name is Horsemanship Major. Then I'll be able to train horses and coach students. Eventually I hope to own my own stable. Anyway, I have to do a riding test to get into this program. The horse and tack will be provided. I am a bit nervous but my trainer said not to worry since they pay more attention to the proper care (saddling, bridling, brushing) and the warm up. So I'll have to flex the horse, and do a lot of bending. Get the horse supple and on the bit. I am a bit nervous, eventhough I've been warming up and cooling down horses for years. I was wondering if someone knew of some good warm up excersizes? I'll be entering a western program.
