I am hoping to start preparing for my BHS Stage 1 exam soon. Is it worth getting the BHS Stable Management book. Are there any other books that would be useful.

Due to my commitments to my nursing course and part time job I have been fortunate enough to get stables who are willing to take their time in my training and so want to start studying as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

The Stable Management Book will help you through all the stages. It is also worth having a Stage 1 specific book or the Examinations Handbook to get a feel of the level of knowledge required.

If you see the thread 'Bhs Training Manuals V's Maxine Cave Course Companions', you can see that the Maxine Cave books have been recommended :)

BHS Stable Management book is good and comprehensive and may save you buying lots of separate books. If you want a specific Stage exam book then the Hazel Reed books are definately worth a look.
