As there are lots of different threads of people doing their Stage One soon, I thought it would be nice to make this and get us all in one place!
So, who has their Stage One booked?
Mine is on 3rd August!

i book my stage one and stage 2 this coming march 27 and 28th... im really scared. theres only around 4 weeks left and i havent joined the stage 1 or 2 courses yet as i have been revising myself. i had just joined the stage 2 course starting tomorrow...and the course is already half way thru.. :( im getting really scared because i know if you dont pass ** stage 1 exam, you wont be able to go onto stage 2... and im just so scared that on my exam day, i would be speechless.. are the examiners really scary? or would they be willing to wait till ** calm so you could answer the questions. ahhhhhh! i dont knowww :( im just so scared.
especially the lunging part for stage 2... and the theory and the stuff... im scared i would do something wrong and then they would fail me... :'(

I started the course on Wednesday. have test on May 21st. I can honestly say that I have never heard of anything so long winded as how to tack up according to the BHS!

I have my Stage 1 on 29th March. I went for an hour theory and an hour riding at the place I'm taking it this week, which was really useful, especially to ride the big gangly ginger giraffe-type creature that no doubt, as a weighty rider, I'll have. Thank goodness they've ditched mounting from the ground as this beastie must be 18.2hh!! It was also really good to meet some of the others doing the exam, and to see that my stable management skills seem to be ok.
They are running a mock exam day next week, but I can't get the time off work:mad:
In the meantime, I am revising every night, practising tail bandaging like a lunatic, much to Molly's disgust, and getting in as many lessons as possible.
I've bought my posh clobber tonight too:D

Thundylover you won't be able to do Stage 2 the day after Stage 1 as the results take about a week to come.

well im not sure but then i asked and it seemed to be alrite here in hong kong. i mean, the BHS called me and they booked me in for both stages 1 and 2. as we will know what we got 20 minutes right after the exam here in hong kong. so after my stage 1, i will know if i could go onto stage 2.
i know a person who actually did 3 stages -- 3 days in a row. and he passed it all apparently. and i was soo suprisedd!!!
:( im really really nervous. :(

Sorry I didn't realise you were not UK. They do do it differently for overseas exams because there are so few of them!
