Hey I'm new and I hope you can help me.

Well I want to have some riding lessons and I am looking around for a riding school near me. on anthoer site someone told me that wrenfield in burnham onsea is good so I have been looking round for a website and in yellow pages and I can't find them?

is the somewhere that gives a list of good riding schools or has anyone heard of them? What makes a good riding school for a bgeinner and how do i find one!! :D

Try the BHS website, I find that word of mouth is the best source of finding a riding school though.

Im not in your area so cant recommend one but Im sure there are people on here from your neck of the woods that can help you out.

Hi

I don't live anywhere near you either but I have found the best way to find a riding school is to go along and speak to someone - I've found that if I find the people friendly then I feel relaxed and able to keep going back. At my last school the RI wasn't trained and was more of a friend but I didn't feel I made much progress - at the school I go to now they are trained but I don't always get the same teacher which is annoying sometimes. I think its personal perference at the end of the day. Have a couple of hours out and about and visit some schools - see what feeling you get for them. Hope that makes sense.
