My pony is novice in Cross Country...

My pony is really novice at XC, she is 7 and when i went to my first XC show she went really uncontrollable and started bucking and reering :(. I'm a bit scared to go anywhere again, anyone got any ideas on how I could stop this??:confused:

Just take her out different places, hiring out the XC courses for schooling, and take a friend or Instructor with you. Or just practise jumping at home until you are both happy together.

2. try taking her to a few more shows (doesn't matter whether XC or not) and don't compete - just get her used to the atmosphere
3. don't use the word "spaz", it is extremely offensive

Have you been to many shows or done xc before with her? If you haven't, maybe you've just overfaced her and she was unsure of herself hence her behaviour. I agree with both above suggestions.
