We came 1st at MKEC - Short Intro & Pics

I took both my 14h ponies Ebony and Sparky (bay) to an Indoor Eventer Trail at MKEC on Sun and i came first on my mare Eb's! :D Im so proud of her ive only had her back a week after i stupidly sold her in Nov 06 - luckily i got her back so im over the moon! Ebs hasnt done that much jumping i only started jumping her May 06 and i dont have the facilities at home to practice that much so shes doing amazingly well. Abit of a long shot but im hoping to qualify for the MKEC Championships on the 18th Mar :eek:
I only did the clear round on Sparky as we've only been to one comp but he went clear over the sj which is vast improvement from Sun 4th (pic attcached), we did have 3 refusals over the xc however it was our first time (only owned him 4wks) but we carried on and we did the whole course.
I also took a video on my camcorder but im just in the process of figuring out how to get it onto my pc, so have a look at the picys and let me know what you think! Any feedback most welcome.

This is slightly off topic but I saw that you said you havent done much jumping and you are in a comp now, so you have been jumping Ebony less than a year. Has she done jumping before this or purley started in May 06?

Hi she was a dressage pony for a number of years at her prevouis home but one day decided she'd had enough and refused to do it anymore, she was then turned out for a year or so. I went to view her tried her out, went for a hack & rode a round the owners field and popped her over a jump i could she loved it so i bought her, i then bought her back into work and took her to her first comp last May where we came 1st in the 2ft at MKEC. Prior to this comp we had only jumped single fences in my field on about 5 occassions.
I dont push her, we jump max of 2'6/2'9 but shes proving to love it. I think if her schoolin work was a little less rushed and she didnt hate it so much she would easily pop 3 / 3'3 comforably but im happy just taking her out to fun classes where she can pick up speed and we dont have to worry bout her jumping becoming to flat.
Whats your impession of her over the fences, if you dont mind me askin?

hey just had to reply to this quickly. Just because i was at MKEC on sunday aswell!! :D lol i did really crap tho, i thought the course was wayyyyy to tight with the jumps being that big so i retired 1/2way through the xc jumps!!

Yeah but i cant deicide which ones to get!! i was going to get the one on Sparky (bay) but you cant see my face!
I would like one of Ebs tho but which one do you think? :confused:
