apprently it is made by equine america, the same makers of cortaflex but is called glucosamine 1000 ( excuse spelling ) it is fairly a new product and i was wondering if anyone else is trying it and what do they think ?
a large tub of this 2 months supply is £16.99 or less compared to approx £59 + for cortaflex  huge saving don't you think ?
has anyone else heard of this, personally my lad has been on it two weeks now and i can't seem to notice any difference from him being on cortaflex
your views would be welcomed :D

Pinnochio is on cortoflex, he startted it on 17th Jan. I think it makes him more flxible, his joints dont click so much.
I took cortoflex for a month, and went onto glucosamine afterwards because I got scruge like to my self. I took it for about 6 weeks. I started to think it was making my shoulder pain worse. I stoped taking it. Sholder pain is slightly better, BUT my joints are cracking and creaking like mad.
I think it works as good as cortoflex.
Gunna see the doctor about the shoulder, its all the long reining I do with Questy I think.

I get the impression that they're all variants of glucosamine and "facilitating" ingredients - the vet's current view seems to be that it's debatable how much reaches the vital parts (eg ow much is absorbed thro' gut and carried into joint to certain tissue = bioavailability) but these products seem to have a good effect so are recommended.
I'd try it for a few months and see how it goes. May do same when our EA Cortaflex tub runs out.
