Clare's (Hairy Cob's) outstandingly stunning birthday present of Dolly got me thinking about Horse Art in the Home.

Little Dolphins has a few pics up her sleeve too.

I wonder if you fancy sharing pics of your horse art on the walls of your house with us.

I am hoping to get a few large prints of Cooper framed but in the meantime I went for the cheap option to get a bit of horse art and colour into the living room.

This was quite a bargain.

The print was only £5 and the frame was £7.99.

I think I might buy a few more to brighten up the walls.

Looking forward to seeing yours.

I have a little horsey collection. Anything I see at horse auctions that takes my eye really. Cheap and cheerful. I have a couple of Captain portraits that I am in the process of buying, I cant wait till I get them on my wall...:D

Wow that is fantastic Dee! Horsey and snazzy :D

I just have pictures of Red and his field-mates dotted all over my bedroom walls in PoundShop frames :o

I am planning on getting a canvas print when I have the money though! :)

Some little sketches of friends' horses ...

The originals obviously went to their owners, but with a good printer, I make reasonable copies to put up in a little display ... hmmm.... which I will get around to one day

Hey Kate, did you do those? They are beautiful.

LD - what can I say?

I saw the subject for that painting and wow you really have captured the features - the veins, the cheek bones, the eyes.

Go on - take a photo of the MustU one - I love it.

Amylou that is such a sweet painting - do you still point now you are at college?

More pics please folks!

This is a reproduction my Mother gave me:
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q297/FeeSanuk/IMG_0527001.jpg

and this is a portrait of my first loan horse that my daughter drew for me:
http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q297/FeeSanuk/IMG_0526002.jpg

Please excuse the rather wonky photography!

My daughter has promised me a portrait of Tally, my current loan horse, but as she is getting married in May, her mind is on other things just at the moment ...

Do these count! Seeing as it's not my house and my parents aren't horsey my room is the only area that can be horsey and I try and make the most of it:D slightly OT but you could possible class them as art if you stretch the meaning really wide:o

Look these ones you can almost class as art! As I drew and sponged them(although not very well)

H4eva8 - how cute and adorable is your bedroom - I'd probably have the whole house like that but OH wouldn't be impressed.

Ah, Mike - I see now. just viewed your website. Very touching how you and your wife clearly adore Storm - what a gorgeous boy he is. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Sarah - you lucky lady - that is one gorgeous painting. Wow!

horses4eva888 I just love your bedroom and yes, you definitely have got a one track mind, but that's really good! Reminds me of my room when I was little, every single inch of wall space was taken up with pictures of horses and ponies :) :) .

Then, one day, they all came down and I put up pictures of David Essex instead :o (WHO? I bet you're saying to yourself :p)

My sweet g-dad said he'd put his racing portraits and statues in a box for me to have when he leaves :( But that's not gonna be for a long time. I currently have a mother and foal statuette on the brain of my computer which my bro brought me from Belgium.
