With imminent launch of their fashionable new Spring and Summer 2007 collection, Horsey Chick have also just agreed a landmark clothing sponsorship with one of our brightest up-and-coming showjumpers, Philippa Dobby, aged 17, from Lancashire.

Horsey Chick clothing is competitively priced and takes inspiration from surf and snowboard brands to introduce an equestrian theme. This means Horsey Chick tops are both trendy and different, as well as incorporating the latest trends and colours.

Philippa is trained by the highly-regarded Steven Smith, who also trains Ryan Prater and Georgina Strutton.

Since becoming National Under-21 Champion at Scope in 2006, Philippa has been brushing shoulders with showjumpers and riders twice her age at events across Europe, coming 4th at the FEI Nantes Grand Prix this January. Jumping at the chance to promote Horsey Chick, Philippa agrees ‘it’s exciting for me to join up with a trendy company which is also beginning to make its mark.’

Horsey Chick attribute their rapid growth to developing an online following for the brand amongst young fashion-aware riders.

‘We recognise the importance that the internet now plays in our customer’s lives, giving smaller niche brands like us the opportunity to develop.’ confirmed Horsey Chick Founder Nikki Barraclough. ‘We support horse riding both as a sport and an interest. With our brand we wanted to bring something different to the market, clothing which appeals to those who are both fashion conscious and price conscious.’

Horsey Chick's new 2007 clothing ranges are available online from mid-March and through selected retailers. For more information the Horsey Chick team can be contacted at service@horseychick.co.uk.
