I'm going to look at a coloured cob on friday a 15.1hh mare and the owner said 'she isnt at all 'mareish'
What does 'mareish' mean. I gather it means tempermental when in season ???

yes that is usually what people mean. Not stroppy when in season...unlike my moose :D

Yes, you will find with most mares (not all) they are mareish, putting their ears back, sometimes trying to give you the odd nip, just ignore them they arent doing it to be nasty its what they are like!
