just an idea ,as most of us are interested at some time or other about the values of our ponies and horses for varous reasons.
just thought it may be handy especially if you want an idea on values you could compare what other people think?
just an idea as i am pondering on selling bruno this summer but havent a clue what he would be worth?

I gauge it on ability, temperament, fitness and potential really. Obvious conformation faults as well but the first ones are my essentials when looking at a horse and comparing prices.

If you post a pic and what he can do then peeps will give you their opinions but beware lots of peeps have different views.

i think youve missed the point- this was for ideas of new forums..
i thought a forum for prices of horses may be of benifit for people who want an idea of a price and they can also compare and get an idea for insurance or sale value.
for exmaple.i am considering selling Bruno..i bought him as a lead rein for my daughter to learn to ride on,but he just cant go slow!
he has been driven and LOVES to drive and trot about. we dont really have anywhere to to apart from along the main road to the next village and back which can be quite hairy!
he is 11hh passported as a shetland but is a lighter build so i guess shetlandx welsh a, he is brilliant with kids doesnt bite or kick good to do in all ways,loves to drive i would love to see him with someone who can ride on him as he is quite showy.he will loose jump small poles.he is passported as 12 but has been aged by the dentist as 9.He has a brand new leather harness and 2 wheel trap. prices????

I think thats what h and bailey meant, becasue alot of people want to know the value of their horses, then a forum dedicated to it might be better and keep it out of veiw for the people that dont like them, but other people who are interested can look:)

oh i know and people always say sorry about. posting them so i didnt know if there is a problem so thought a proper forum would be better?
i do want opinions on price for bruno of you can help? as he is a driving pony dont know how much he would be worth,with the trap and harness and without! please put prices so i can weigh up the pros and cons of selling
