Hey,

I have my very first horse show on Friday and I am so nervous. I was wondering if anyone can give me any advice or anything about starting out on horse show's? Hopefully I'll do well if not it's still gonna be an amazing learning experience.

Never done any showing myself so can't help on practical advice. good luck and try and enjoy it and quite rightly embrace it as a learning experience. Remember that you cannot learn unless you make a mistake!

try a few drops of rescue remedy - ive heard it can work a treat on your nerves:)
also maybe as its your first show look on it as part of you and your horses training, maybe make your aim to have an ejoyable day where your horse is well behaved and not worrying about winning.

that may take some pressure off and if you happen to go home with a rosette its an added bonus:D

good luck have fun
