I want to get out more, without relying on friends.....
I have a trailer and 4X4. I dont like towing.
OH thinks the best option is to buy a truck, nissan navara king cab, and put the carriage onto the back, and tow the trailer behind with my pony/s in it.
I would prefer a small lorry. Ive seen one on carriage link
"Transit 2.5diesel non HGV 3.9 tonnes 10' container to carry 2 horses or 3 ponies plus one vehicle, with electric winch that raises ramp and loads carriage - rear and side ramp. Please note: This lorry is 3.9 tons so is an upgraded MOT it is still ok for a car licence if you took your test before 1996."
Ive driven a motor home before and felt better about that than towing.
Ideas please, coments? Sugestions for vehicles. What is the smallest lorry that can work?
