Well my horse went to his new mom today.

I'm really happy that he has found such a nice home and such a lovely new mom. She will love him to bits, he was really happy when he went into his stable, munching his hay, sticking his head over the door wondering what all the fuss was about!

Only a small yard but nice, lots of cob friends for him to play with. All the yard had got wind of the new arrival and were all there at 10.00 grooming their horses waiting for the new boy!

I suspect after we left he was being groomed and mane/tailed to within an inch of his life!!!:D

Whatanejit, yes I'm okay, had a little sniffle into his mane when I said goodbye:o.

But, at the end of the day I know I let him go for the right reasons, and he is in a good home, who will really look after him.

She sent a text late Saturday to say he was really settled well and had eaten loads of hay! Sounds just like him!

His new owner was so excited, she hadn't slept all week, and had bought him loads of new stuff.

I'll pop up and see him in a month or so, to allow them time to bond. I think there must be nothing worse to a new owner, an old one constantly hanging around!

Bit odd today when he wasn't there, but its all worked out well.

I'm already looking for my new pony!
