I put dark green for all my horses and I think it looks especially nice on chestnuts, but if you are not a fan of green, then how about blue?
Any shades, especially the lighter ones will come out nicely against the chestnut colour! :)

I second the blue. A nice bright blue looks well on a chestnut. Or white.
Thats the colours i use with Lady. Blue, white and like rach black with a gold trim.

I must say, green is spectacular on chestnuts.
But, blue is good too. I rode toby in royal blue and black in my western classes, we were fancy. I would also say maybe a light brown jacket with a rich colored shirt, such as burgandy. That may look nice.

Ha I use black and silver too, so no use i'm afraid!
Burgundy, navy and forest green all look nice, or any combination of these.
