Hello All,
I just started this thread out of bordem really, but interest as well. I was wondering what you best horsey buy was and why it is so good. It can be something for yourself or your horse.

Thanks for any replies :)

reduced gardening gloves from Tescos. They were only 20p and are hardwearing.

Squishy buckets - ive found curlys buckets all over the yard before now and she LOVES to hurl them around and sit on them.
ETA- and her Snack a ball - stops her frantic boxwalking and her little face just lights up when she sees it.

I like Daffy's white show halter, it just looks gorgeous on him.

Or my show jackets, love them both and they were absolute bargains, Daffy's two Decahedrons, he loves them more than anything else and I love watching him play with them.

Best value for money wise though, either my black hw wool show jacket (£140down to £60) or my 3 pairs of show-show jods (hunting and SJ ones not included) - £180 worth of show jodhpurs for less than £45. Get in :D

For my horse it has to be her ball that I put her cubes in and she rolls around - that has saved her stable door from a lot of kicking!

and for me - so many things to choose from, but on the cold mornings it has to be my MH Rimfrost riders!!

Rubber matting for P's stable. Cost an arm and a leg but no more worrying about capped hocks etc & mucking out is sooo much easier!

My bargain horsey buy has got to be Captain....I only paid £850 for him. 2yrs ago....14 2hh 8yo....confidence giving piebald...

My best tack item has to be his saddle....£40....The one he came with was too tight...I got the next one exactly the same but wider for £40...:D

Another vote for Bossy's Bibs as no rug rubs at all this winter.

For me, my yellow reflective waterproof jacket which although it makes me look as if I'm about to dig up the road, has kept me warm, dry and visible all winter.

WHAT:eek: You paid £850 for him...tsk!

My best buy for Bry has to be her rambo waffle cooler, it cost £10 out of the bargain bit at my local saddlery and she wears it all the time. Highly recommend it for wickering properties aswell.

Hmmm, good thread; let me see; best horsey buy for me is definitely my Mountain High Rider Sportives - comfy, and quite stylish (just wish they made them in brown like they do the normal ones).
Best buy for Storm - got to be her black event saddle, its lightweight and soooo comfy for her (she told me so!!!!)
Best buy for Joe - definitely his lovely Treadstep (think thats the right name) brown leather headcollar - so comfy and good fitting.

My saddle! Definately. Found it through word of mouth- It's an ex-police horse saddle, a Kieffer Munchen AP which is perfect for Harashee's wide back. $100 Aussie so that's 40.3038 GBP!! Add on the saddle fitting and mounts all up it was still under $250. This is it (taken today... could use a bit of saddle soap!):

I love it, it's so comfortable and Harashee likes it too. I mean I wouldnt show in it, but that said it does the job wonderfully and everyone else who has tried it loves it too. And the mounted police logo is on the underside so it's not visable at all :)
