What numnahs do people use under their show saddles?

Until now I've had a nice plain brown cotton jobby, barely visible, or used no numnah at all.

Getting a new saddle though (so doubt it'll fit) and I'd rather like a sheepskin one. Looking mostly at the Native Saddle Co ones, as they'd fit the saddle, but I'm also interested in Courtlea.

From what I understand, they stick to the saddle. So I assume that you can't just take it off and stick it back on for the next show. Or can you? £100 (or whatever they are) is a lot for a numnah you'd be forced to get sweaty every day. What am I saying, £100 is a lot for a numnah full stop!

But yes, I want one :o

Sounds interesting! I'm probably going to use my limpet pad with Saphy for showing, which is what I use every day, as it is quite unobtrusive and not easily seen, but most importantly, it stops the saddle sliding around her wide connemara back :)

I'll see how we go with that though, I think her owners used a brown sheepskin type one on her.

yes, you can take them off - they're kind of gummy, so they don't move while you're riding, but easily peeled off.

i want one too but i'm not getting one, petal has a wannabe one, as YM won't let her share ambassador's because she'll get white hairs on it! the real ones are pretty sexy though.
