Just checking I'd be OK to do Dressage in these boots and chaps, both in black:

i think your fine with the boots but i'm unsure as to whether chaps are allowed.

Funny, I read the rules yesterday. I got there via the dressage section of NR. and then this link

I think the "chaps" have to be gaiters. i.e. you'd need the Ariat shiny ones to exactly match the boots. But I dont compete and dont really know.

thats what i thought, gaiters instead of chaps.

Thanks for that. Phoned up the tack shop I got them from and I am swapping the chaps for these http://www.ariat.com/products_detail.aspx?pcid=12&cid=29&scid=94&pid=113 which I believe are OK :)
