OMG what have I done! I don't seem to progress with my training of my younster at home alone and I'm not sure if I am helping or hindering his progress and no one's available to come this far out and help. Now there's a couple who run weekend schools for feeble beginners like myself and beginner horses but they never come within 300ks near my place BUT they are running a course only 200KS away. So I've booked and booked the hire of a horse float. They said if I can get him there there will be heaps of people to help with the handling of him. It's 4 weeks away so I need to see if he will go in a horse float and travel calmly. We've got no idea of his past so he might surprise me ( I hope so). I;ll be sooo disappointed if I have to go as just a spectator without him. I am so excited only 28 more sleeps. Boy have I got some work to do before then. Any tips would be most welcolme. Kindest regards Oldbushy:D

Nothing like a a bit of pressure to focus the mind ;)

Now you have a goal, I am sure things will start to improve for you.

Good Luck

Very exciting for you, OB!

Wow, you really are out of town there, eh?

I admire you for battling on by yourself with your hoss.

Try to do stretches every day to keep yourself supple; the sudden onslaught of instruction at the lesson may make you stiff and sore! (That's what happens to me:rolleyes: )

Good luck with the loading practice!
