Suber pad users

Just wondering if you use it by itself? When I have ridden with mine I have used it solely by itself. However, I was wondering if anyone used a pad underneath to keep their saddles clean? I was thinking maybe I could use my haf pad underneath the suber as the underside of freeform gets quite dirty. Or will this make it too bulky?

I use it on its own but you can put something under the pad, i think thats ok. I haven't tried it yet but washing it is getting a bit tiring so i was planning to get a saddle cloth as well.
Fortunately you can use the pad when its wet too.

I've always used mine direct on the horse, if I've used a numnah with it then it's been between the pad and the saddle.
