I am looking for an exercise bridle (probably western style), and want something that is easy to toss on the horse and easy to keep clean, so not necessarily leather and I hate synthetic..
I came across this, what do you think?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LOVELY-UNIQUE-VAQUERO-STYLE-WESTERN-BRIDLE-NEW_W0QQitemZ300075027345QQihZ020QQcategoryZ72584QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
Price is a bit too much for my liking but otherwise I think it looks nice. I would probably be using it with a snaffle.. And exercising in the sense of hacking out, not doing any lateral work or anything, on horses that have been taught to neck reining.
Has anyone seen similar bridles going on cheaper somewhere?
Thanks! :)

Hmmm, bummer. I found loads of these sort of bridles cheaper on the USA version of ebay, but with the postage it comes almost to the same as the UK one.. :(
Anyone going to the States anytime soon who could bring me a bridle..? :p

Here it is. Smith Brothers. You can buy the head stall for 10 dollars. They have the reins too. Didn't get a chance to check the colours available.

Mmmmmm
I was speaking to Libbyo the other day and saw a western style Bridle that she sells which I quite liked but that one is lush.
Obviously you can put a bit on it? Does it offer the same 'effect' as a standard bridle....am feeling creative now:rolleyes:

julia_gulia, love the bridle you found, but with the delivery from US plus VAT would make the price quite big again.. I think I live in the wrong country.. :(
Libbyo, your bridle looks lovely! It is leather though, isn't it? You make them yourself? If I can't find a nylon one that I like, I might PM you for more info on yours. :)
Kate, might have to ask you some more info, will PM you! :D
