Well me and Spring did our 1st affliated prelim test today, I had made the decision at the beginning of the year to give it a go, so although I was worried that we would be out of place I went ahead and did it, and what a great result we came 3rd with 63.33%. So proud of my girlie, am waiting for pics to be sent to me by post, will share when I get them.

Have just looked back through my tests and have been fairly consistant over 62% in unaff prelims.

thats good to hear , ie that your scoring has remained consistent through the transition , we've been getting mid 60's at novice & place near enough every time out

was worried though that our scores would take a battering at affiliated!

You need to test sheets over 60% to qualify for the Pet Plan area festivals. (I think) new to it myself but I know somebody was going on about when I got mine.

Well done that's a great score :)

Can I just ask: when you affliate - do you do unaff. prelim then aff. prelim or would you work up to, say, unaff. novice and then start at aff. prelim? It's so confusing

Usually I do prelims and recently some novices at unaff level, I haven't affliated I just rode on a ticket to test the water, I am planning on doing regular novices then the odd affliated prelim this year, then maybe later on this year depending on how things go I might try affliated novice because I dont think that is too dractically out of reach.
