In view of the fact that New Rider is an open, public forum available for all to view whether registered or not, there are some rules about posting pictures here.
Everyone is welcome to share pics of their horses here, ridden or otherwise. No personal pics please - keep them horsey.
Under 18s - please do not post pics in which your face is clearly visible and identifiable. This does not mean you can't post pics of you and your horse - but please do blur your face in any which show you clearly. Pictures which *do* show your face clearly will be deleted. This rule exists for your own safety. Everything you post here (your age, location, where you go hacking and anything else you have in your profile such as email and MSN) is instantly available to absolutely anyone who sees your posts. It is therefore important that you cannot be visibly identified through pics you post on top of that. (And please do think carefully about how much personal detail you give away here aside from pictures...)
Over 18s - we would prefer it if you also followed this suggestion; but if you choose not to, any pics you post are posted at your own risk.
Please post general pics you just want to share (rather than actually discuss or use for questions or illustrative reasons) in the cafe area. Please also bear in mind that picture posts deleted from the server or edited later may still be available to view as cached pages in a Google search.
Try not to post huge pictures - many members find it irritating viewing threads with pics so big they go off the page.
