Is it OK to wear my Champion Ventair hat for dressage? Also, while I'm at it is it OK for XC? I know it's fine for SJ.

There is no reason why you shouldn't use it for dressage but they are not recommended for XC. I believe its because of the increased risk of something being forced though the vents in a fall. Far more debris on the gorund XC than SJ or dressage.

Thanks for that David :) Champion do the plain jockey skulls as well so I think I'd get one of them if I ever work up enough courage to do some XC  :D

Glad someone asked this! My hat is similar to that, and I was wondering. I knew the all velvet ones were correct for dressage, but wasn't sure on the newer, showjumping style ones. Glad I don't have to buy a new hat! It wasn't in the budget...
