This is saddle is relatively new on the market. It has been around a year. It is manufactured in Germany and is very hard to find info on. Well I have tried it and am ordering my own! I thought I'd get this reveiw out there for people who like me want some info when looking around.

For those who dont know it is a dressage saddle, and it actually looks like one too. You wouldnt know it is treeless. It can be ordered custom as well with shorter flaps, different gullet, seat size and colour. Here is the website (you can change the language at the top) http://www.treeless-saddles.com/

Ok, I love it!

It is truely lovely despite not fitting me. It looks to sit you high off the horse but it soft and you do sink somewhat. You would have NO IDEA that it has no tree to be honest.

My girth didnt tighten any further so it slid forward, Lilly went pretty well in it. Well, as good as you cant expect an out of work 3yo to go.

It felt incrediby stable, the seat is really soft, you feel your seat bones sink in and the sponge in the middle go up you butt c****
It looked like it was a really wide twist saddle, but I was surprised when I sat in it it felt quite narrow.

The flaps were too long for my little legs but thats ok because you can get a shorter option that takes off 60mm. I may also go for a small seat, anyone got opinions on that? Should I go smaller and get the 17inch? I have to order mine soon.

In terms of quality it is what you would expect of any treed saddle, lovely soft leather etc. The only negative is you must know what gullet size your horse needs, it does flex a bit but you've got to be in the ball park at least, much like the barefoot or similar. The rest of the saddle will move with your horse.

I tried the Barefoot London before this one a sent it back, this saddle to me is far better quality and value for money. Once I get my very own I will be able to have a more comprehensive ride in it.

If you want the benefit of treeless with EVERYTHING else of a treed saddle go for this one! I like the price too!

Hi

Great report! Could I be really cheeky and ask if I could put it on the Reviews page of my website?

If you click the Union Jack flag in the top left corner of the website, it puts it all into English (phew!). I had a look because it seems like a really nice saddle. It's 999 euros which comes out as approx £685, not too bad! :)

Showjumper absoluetly you can put it on your site. Actually I checked your site for a reveiw on it before I tried it!

I will go back and fix some of the spelling errors:D
Will you be able to get the pictures? Or do I need to send you the link?

For UK people this is where I first 'discovered' this saddle.
http://equinewhispers.com/
I then hunted around for more info which led me to the German site, which tells you more about how its made.

Showjumper, Would you be able to change where I trialled the saddle from please? I trialled it from the importer in New Zealand, and I dont really think it is fair on her not to acknowledge her. I understand it will be different for other in other countries though.
