This is Florence our yearling, she was born june 06 so is needing to "catch up" alittle to the earlier bred foals but i am planning on showing her this year, any of you showing people have a suggestion on what colour browband would suit her or any pictures of your grey ponies/horses coloured browbands?
Im at the minute going with blue/red/gold mix? Any other good matches?
Thanks for your help!!!!!

I love this one by Ponies on Parade, although it's possibly a little too bling (perhaps change a metallic ribbon to a satin) and at £42, it's not cheap!

Navy velvet, cornflower blue, sparkley silver with a touch of scarlet satin to lift the blues
I would steer well away from white, but the only thing with the above browband is whether it would be too blue for her face.
They suggest; Darker greys look drab in navy, royal or pastel blue. The coat really needs lifting with a shade of red, either bright or dark, dark yellow gold and jade looks quite good too.

I can't see the pic for some reason, but someone has mentioned greys so...
I really like green / jade on greys and also pinks and lilacs.
I personally wouldn't go for red on a grey, but thats just my personal choice because alot of people tend to go for this colour...maybe burgundy?

I used blue and yellow on my grey (although ideally I'd have this browband a little wider, but we mainly do hunter classes, so no point in getting a new one)

With horses it's better to stick to the traditional colours - red, blue, green, gold, silver, yellow, burgandy etc, rather than the pinks and purples which are more common in pony classes. The colours youv'e said sound lovely, I think just burgandy and gold would look pretty smart too.

I have that browband somewhere, but mine's orange instead of yellow! I don't have a photo anymore, but it actually suited the bright bay that wore it. :p

My grey TB has a purple, emerald green and gold browband. I think it looks good. But I think that you should also consider what you are going to wear and try to co ordinate your browband with this.
Best of luck.
