Hi there,

Any opinions or experiences about Moulton College and Warwickshire College (Moreton Morrell)? I'm going to study Equine Science BSc (hons). So any info useful.

Thankyou

Hi,
I did my stage 1 exam at Moulton last june, it seemed very new with some building work still being done. The site seemed quite cosy and with good facilities. I have been doing my stage 2 training at warwickshire and lots of my friends study there and are enjoying it. It's a bit bigger, with several outdoor schools. I have also found it to be a friendly place. You can work on the yard in the holidays, or take one of the horses home for the breaks, lots of people get very attached to the horses.
Don't know if that helps, probably the best thing is to go and look around and get a feel for them.

I'm another warwickshire girlie!!! Just finished my degree in Equine Studies and really sad to have left the place!
The facilities are really good all 3 arenas have been recently resurfaced, the outdoor arena is now HUGE! theres always comps and stuff going on at the weekend that you can take part in. If you want to take your own horse you have full use of all the facilities when they're not being used for lessons. You can get free shoeing too done by the apprentice farriers, and free back treatments too when the McTimmoney exams are going on. If you dont have your own horse you can 'adopt' one of the college horses and use them in competitions too.
I've loved every minute of my course, the staff are really friendly and helpful and the campus is a really nice place to live!
The best thing you can do is visit both places so you can get a feel for the campus and the area etc.
