HI All,
It may no longer be possible to run the seminars. I have only had two people confirm that they wish to come. If there are any more of you out there wanting to come, do please contact me soon. It costs me over £1000 just to put a five day seminar on, without taking my time into account, with Mike Peace and Kay to pay plus the 2 hour hacks at the riding school, so I have to make sure it is worth it or I could end up out of pocket!

It's hard to believe really!! Don't people realise how lucky they are having you folks down there? Still, at least I've got Heather's book and can catch a glimpse of Mike's work in my horsey mag..............violins please!

Hi Heather,
I would love to come down again (I was down on the 22/23 March with Catherine Reynolds) but I don't have any holiday left from work, in fact the two days with you will have to be unpaid eventually but I was that desperate I thought it was well worth it!
For anyone who is thinking about it they should definatley go if they possibly can. Myself and Cathy had a great time and learned loads! It would be awful if Heather had to cancel, so come on everyone!

Well, the only reason I didn't say I'd like to come is because I thought it would be mean pinching a place from under the nose of someone who lives further away from Heather than I do. But I'd love to. Just say when!

What a shame, especially when there seemed so much interest in the seminars in the subforum! I suppose the majority of the respondents really wanted to bring their own horses. Leave is my big problem (I think for £300 for 5 days is good value!). When you work full time there are always horse occassions (vet / dentist etc) which eat into the leave allowance and my husband says the only time he gets to see me is when we go away on holiday (how unreasonable is that);)
Hope things do work out, I was hoping I might be in a better leave position if they were run next year.

£300! I thought it would be dearer than that! Can you remind me of the dates please? I would love to if I can organize holiday.
Thanks

I think if it comes to it folks, I will just run the August date as there were two who could make that week but not July. As long as we get ten people for definite, it makes it worthwhile running.
So I will wait for a week or so and see if there is any response. I wonder if a lot of members on the sub-forum haven't visited lately, so I will try to pm them and see what repsonse we get.

I know it complicates things, and you may not get the same group atmosphere, but once you get enough definites for the five days, would you be able to open up any of the days to extras? I could probably make a couple of the days in August, but not the whole week.

HI Monty,
12-15th of August -
Amanda, I may be able to do something for a couple of days as long as it is not the ones with the hacks/simulator.

I would also be interested in the non-hack or non-simulator days if that is an option.

As much as I would really love to, I can't make it. I'm trying to find a way to fit everything in over the next few months as it is. I hope it goes ahead and you have a good time though.

I would love to come to your seminar if I could possibly do so.
I am extremely nervous when cantering, in fact I haven't cantered in over a year as it causes me to panic. I have a lovely sweet pony whom I bought a few months ago but still cannot canter! Do you think it would help me if I come to your seminar?
regards,
yvonne
