I have looked into various trainers and asked on here as you will have seen from ealier posts. I have decided to go with Parelli for now as a starting point and to work from there. I have also ordered a Clinton Anderson book and will get more by him and others next month after payday!

My darling darling boyfriend has said he will buy me Parelli level 1 for my birthday. That is not untill October but I dont want to waste the summer so am hoping to get it very early(as in now!) so I can get started. Will join the Savvy club for a bit too just to see if im missing anything.

They have a demo weekend in August that I plan to go to aswell. £95 for a ticket! Which is very steep, but thats for both days and is probably the only chance I will get to see it done in the flesh so gonna be brave and buy a ticket. Its not too much per month if I start saving now!

So we will see where I get with it all. It is a hell of a lot of money to spend and my OH thinks im nuts as it will be my 30th birthday present. He says normal people would ask for a weekend away or some jewellery. As there is nothing I want more than to understand my horse and have her understand me, and for us to work well as a team, I cant think of anything better really. So here it goes!:)

ah well..........you'll enjoy it I'm sure :) I'm trying to decide whether or not to go to a Ken Faulkner demo but I think thats £40 for the day. Keep thinking I could have almost an extra hour with Jayne for that but I'll have to see :o

Hope you enjoy it :D

Don't worry Widget, I know it costs a lot of money to get started....but I found it was worth every penny.

Hey, we might bump into each other at the Parelli conference, I've already bought my ticket direct from the NEC. If it's anything like the the others I've been to I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.........(there's usually loads of freebies on offer as well) ;)

If you join the savvy club you get a discount on the tickets for the demo in august...me and my mum are savvy members and we are going to the demo, we will have to meet there and have a chat :D:D

There have been many bad critisms about parelli but I love it. Most people quit because they get bored, you just need to keep going, level one is just establishing the basics and getting a good base of knowledge for level 2 when the real fun begins (so i have been told, mum buying the pack now :o )

Also liberty and horse behaviour pack is suppose to be AMAZING but at around £400 i have got some saving to do for that ;)

You will have to let us know how you pogress and the girls (and guys) on the savvy forum are geat people and point you in the right diection when you a bit stuck!!
