Morning all,

Daughter is just starting to prepare for a mini ODE, in which she has to perform the Pony Club Introductory Test 2007.

In the test, the walk on a long rein element is MEF. Just wanted to check your thoughts, will the judges be looking for a straight line between ME, and another between EF, with a sharp (almost 90 degree) angle at E?

Excuse the ignorance but as a non-riding mum, I'm not yet used to all the challenges of the different disciplines.

Thanks
Angela

A straight line up to the point where she starts to turn. This would be before E.

The turn itself should be aproximately a quarter of a circle and wide enough so the pony doesn't become unbalanced. The apex of the turn should be at E. Then continue on a straight to M.

Thanks Willingbe, that makes it a bit clearer.
