My friends doing horse riding for her practical in A level PE, so is doing a dressage test. She has to be shown to be competing against someone and im that person :) (though it isnt a proper show or anything, just videoing us on the schoolies)

Ive been told that I dont have to be in proper dressage wear or anything, just dressed smart to make it look good and like a proper competition.

So, was wondering, what do I need? Ive been told that I dont need a proper jacket, just a smart jumper.

Was thinking:
Jumper (blue probably because thats the colour of my tie)
Just normal old school shirt
Blue tie
Cream johds
Black boots and chaps
Black hat
Black gloves
Hair netted up

What does that sound like? Suggestions needed please!!!

Do you mean a V-neck jumper, or a sweatshirt with a round neck?

What you have suggested sounds good to me. Although I think a plain sweatshirt and a t-shirt with a collar could be smart enough, and then you don't need to bother with a tie.

Was thinking a v neck. The other girl is getting a proper jacket and everything i think, but then its her exam and she has to look smart. So I dont want to be too casual, but cant be smarter than her.

So long as that sounds remotely ok, have to go shopping soon then, skint already! :D

What do you have out of that lot already? You might not need to buy as much as you think - I'm sure you can look presentable enough without upsetting the bank balance!

Only actually have to buy the jumper, johds, gloves, net and possibly new chaps as I need some anyway. So not too much...hehe. Might be whining at mum later, or searching ebay :p
