part bred arab classes

Im planning on entering the arab/part bred class at my local show if Shay behaves himself and theres not too many in the class, as hes a hunter type build, will he still need a coloured browband?
Hes having a running plait as I know they have to be plaited but im not doing giant golf balls.

In the part bred arab classes you turn out to type. So if your gee gee is a hunter type then its tweed, plaited and plain tack.
A running plait is not something that is done in showing, traditional plaiting (plaited down, rolled and stiched) is what is needed.
Alot of the part bred arabs are lighter build so they tend to turn out to hack/riding poney types. ie blue jacket and coloured browband.
