I'm running out of creative ways to use up my horses daily loads in the wheel barrow. Enough with mulching everything already. Does anyone use those cute little manure spreaders that are pulled by a small lawn tractor?? And are they satisfactory??

Where are you thinking of spreading the horse's muck?

I have a 400 ft stretch to the south of my 2 lots where my horses won't get at to graze. Theres an easement to the east of me but turning around might be a hassle there. My neighbor helps me out by taking it sometimes and I appreciate that immensely. My lot is "mulched" everywhere already. I am assuming that there would not be an odor problem if I spread with a manure spreader.........my neighbor to the west could present a problem if there was and I'd like to keep my current status up with everyone. I used one for someone else once and when it worked correctly it was fabulous and just sent it all churned up into the air and you couldn't even see traces of it hardly on the ground. But that was in a true equestrian community with larger lots and more understanding.
