currently honeys on no feed apart from grass and hay in stable at night
shes doing about 1 hour 30 work every 5 - 6 days a week sometimes every day at the min its not fast work mostly walk and trot
should i put her on a feed shes a haflinger and keeps her weight

if shes keeping weight and not struggling or anything id say she'll b just fine without, especially coming into summer with all the grass!

I would agree, if she doesn't need any more weight or energy then stick with what you are doing :D I would suggest though that you make sure she gets vitamins and minerals, a block/lick, supplement in a tiny bit of chaff or those treat style ones would be perfect, or you could consider giving a balancer which is small pellets of good stuff which shouldn't encourage weight gain but the horse often appriciates the 'feed' esp if others are getting feeds :D

healthy though she may seem, it's best that you have her on a balanced diet for optinum performance and bodily health.
ideal supplements/balancers include - Dengie Optinum, Global herbs Globalvite, Feelgood 30 Vitamins and Minerals (supplements) - and Blue Chip Original/Lami-Light, Baileys Lo-Cal, Topspec (balancers).
