People with working shetlands!

What do you feed your shetlands that are in hard work, ie race/hunting fit? What do you give them and how much of it? My son wants to do some long distance driving this season, so the small hairy one has started a fittening routine:rolleyes:

We feed sugar beet, Alfalfa and a cool mix. or anything the feed merchant has in! :o
